Running open play

An open play session keeps a fair queue for your courts: players join from their phones, and RallyFlow suggests who plays next, balancing time waited, games played and (if you like) ratings. You confirm each match.

Create a session

Open your club and choose New session. On a phone it opens full screen; on a computer the steps are listed on the left, and you can go back to any finished step.

  1. Where & when. Name the session and choose the venue: your club's venues come first, then places from Google Maps, or type one in. Players get directions to it. Add a date and start time, or leave the date empty to start right away. Notes for players are optional (“Bring your own paddle · Parking at the back”).
  2. Courts & players. How many courts, doubles or singles, and the most players who can join (or no limit). With Max, people who join a full session wait in line and move up on their own when a spot opens; otherwise they see that it's full.
  3. Play rules. Whether players can keep a fixed partner, partner requests after the start, and whether to balance teams by rating. These start from your usual rules, or your last session's.
  4. Fee & review. An optional session fee (Pro), then check everything and choose Create session. Keep “Use these as the starting point for my next session” on to fill in steps 2 and 3 next time.

Choose Skip to review with your usual rules from step 2 to go straight to the review.

Share and check in

Tap Share for the QR code and link. Players see the venue with directions, the start time (and can add it to their calendar), how many spots are left, the rules and your notes, then join with their name. Before they're checked in they can leave, which opens their spot. When they arrive, check them in on the Players tab.
